Globe valve, as a common type of valve, has specific structural features and functions. Its key component is the closure, we usually call the valve, the valve is not independent movement, but by the stem to drive. The valve stem drives the valve disc to move up and down along the central axis of the valve seat, which ensures the stability and reliability of the valve during opening and closing.
In the pipeline system, the valve plays a vital role. When it is necessary to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline, the cut-off valve can play its role. Through the lifting movement of the valve flap, the cut-off valve can realize the complete opening or closing of the medium, so as to realize the precise control of the medium circulation in the pipeline. However, it is worth noting that the shut-off valve is not suitable for use as a throttle device. Although the lifting movement of the valve can adjust the flow of the medium to a certain extent, this method is not accurate and is easy to cause damage to the valve itself.
Therefore, in practical applications, we should choose the appropriate valve type according to specific needs. For occasions that require precise control of the medium flow, a special throttle valve or regulating valve should be selected; and for occasions that only need to be connected or cut off the medium, the globe valve is an ideal choice. Through the rational selection and use of stop valves, we can ensure the normal operation of the pipeline system, improve production efficiency, and extend the service life of the valve.
